Hugelkultur Mounds with Glenn Miracle
For Earth Month: Local Regenerative Farmer, Glen Miracle of Laughing Frog Farm, will tell us about his method of growing vegetables in Hugelkultur mounds, a Permaculture method which minimizes water needs and helps him survive drought and flood.
Monday at the West Gray Multiservice Center.
The program will begin at 6:30. Bring food to share, and items for door prizes ( plants, garden & food-related books & the like).
Also, I’d like us to be as zero-waste as possible. The Herb Society meetings involve an amazing potluck dinner and they all bring their own plates, cups & utensils. If they can do it, we can do it.
